Ömer, thank you for conducting this interview with us. How did you decide to work in the telecommunication sector?

I knew I wanted to be in a sector where all forms of my soft, solid skills and an engineering mindset must be combined, where I could show off the success I want. After graduation and gaining experience in different sectors, such as media and engineering, Qoolize allowed me to pursue this path.

Can you describe your role as a Sales Operations Manager? What are your primary responsibilities and objectives?

I realized that my role required a multifaceted approach in addition to the fusion of my strengths. My responsibilities at Qoolize include creating strategies to achieve organizational goals, streamlining the sales process, and carefully examining sales data. Essentially, I'm trusted with making choices that will immediately affect my company's success. I must ensure that all these elements work harmoniously to advance our group's objectives.

What are some of the most significant challenges you've faced in your role, and how have you overcome them?

Navigating the changing landscape of our industry is critical. Our working environment is one in which circumstances and positions change often. Our capacity for quick and efficient adaptation sets us up for success. By closely monitoring every aspect of our work, we can anticipate potential problems and proactively address them before they become more serious. By being proactive, we can stay ahead of the curve and keep our competitive advantage in a constantly changing market.

Sales operations often involve high-pressure situations. How do you manage stress and maintain a healthy work-life integration?

Being highly active, I take comfort in engaging in various physical activities to decompress and relieve tension. Every activity relieves tension and pent-up energy, whether running on the pavement for a change of pace, working out hard at the gym, or dancing to live music. I have also learned that meditation has a profoundly positive effect on cultivating inner peace and tranquility, especially during periods of high stress. Including these practices in my routine helps me approach challenges with resilience and clarity while revitalizing my spirit and general well-being.

How did you decide to live in Canada, and was it hard to adapt?

As an inherently curious person, I've always sought opportunities to push the envelope and broaden my horizons. Canada drew me in as the ideal location for this personal development journey because of its rich cultural diversity and abundance of opportunities. Interestingly, adjusting to life in Canada wasn't as tricky as I had imagined—possibly because I had been picturing myself there for a while. This prior familiarity made the transition easier and enabled me to fully immerse myself in this new phase of self-discovery and exploration.

What do you most like and dislike about living in Canada?

I can't say enough about how peaceful and safe Canada is. It's where tranquility envelops every nook and cranny, promoting a deep sense of safety and satisfaction. Living in balance with the natural world is essential to being Canadian, regardless of the season—tranquil winter snow or verdant summer foliage. It is proper winter indeed occupies the year. Still, many Canadians welcome it as a chance to engage in outdoor activities like skiing and snowboarding or to take in the beauty of a winter wonderland instead of viewing winter as a challenge.

By being proactive, we can stay ahead of the curve and keep our competitive advantage in a constantly changing market.

Have your professional experiences in different regions influenced your perspective and interests?

People's and regions' cultures indeed impact how we operate. It has helped me think more clearly and act decisively. My understanding of successful collaboration has grown due to exposure to various work styles and communication conventions. Furthermore, it has taught me the value of tolerance and adaptability when negotiating a variety of workplace dynamics. This cultural tapestry has widened my perspective and improved my capacity for environment adaptation and complexity survival.

Do you have any work/life mantra that keeps you motivated?

Every challenge leads you to step up to another level, and every effort will eventually pay off. So, you need to get up and keep trying every time. This mantra always motivates me.

Lastly, what's your all-time favorite series?

I like The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, and Ozark.

As Qoolize, we thank Ömer and wish him the best of luck in his life and career.

Our employees worldwide are transforming their classical working models and adopting the method of growing together.
